Data Survey Forms
Prior to your first personal financial planning meeting you
should download and print the initial planning survey (Data Survey
Initial.pdf) and consider the information it requests, especially
your prioritized goals and problems. Please complete the initial survey and bring it to
your planning meeting along with the documents listed on page two, and any other documents you think
relevant to your planning engagement.
You should also jot down any specific questions for which you seek answers. For example, you may want to know what your future might look like (financially) if you were to retire at some specific time, or whether your insurance program is sufficient and efficient, or how best to plan for distributions from your IRA.
Subsequently, we will discuss and determine the additional information indicated in the complete data survey (Data Survey Complete.pdf).
Note: Don't labor over the information requested in the survey forms. Answer the questions that come easily, and begin to consider those that don't come easily. We will discuss all of your data, including your questions about the questions during our meeting. If you do not yet have all of your documents and/or answers to questions together by the time of our meeting it is ok. Come to the meeting with what you have. You can gather additional information as needed.
